It's so gratifying to have trained as many fantastic young students in our Junior TKD program as we have. We are amazed each and every day by their determination, commitment and the sheer focus they can display once they've set earning a black belt as a goal for themselves.

Three very inspiring young students went the distance recently and fully earned their Junior Black Belts on December 10th. Zoe P., Adran C., and Adam B. all did an outstanding job of demonstrating their proficiency in forms, one steps, sparring, self-defense and Superfoot techniques, not to mention being able to fully perform their fitness requirements. It was a tough night and emotions were high but they all met the challenge with great aplomb.

Our congratulations go out to Zoe, Adran, and Adam as well as to their parents who supported them in this endeavor so completely.

Mr. Fauth and I and lots of friends and family were witness last night to one of the best belt tests we've seen in the history of our school. All students, junior and adult alike, were well prepared and super focused. As a result, these test candidates showed us all the difference between students who are committed to their training in the martial arts as opposed to just simply interested. There is a huge difference in the two as it is in just about every other worthwhile endeavor where top performance is the desired goal.

Special mention goes out to Cooper Price who walked away with "Best of Test" honor after performing all of his requirements for Junior Red Belt in an outstanding manner. Cooper is now 8 years old and started his training at the age of 3 in our Lil Dragon program.

We also had two adults who tested- Ms. Sarah Hermes (tested to Green Belt) and Mr. Vipul Gidda (tested to Blue Belt), who both did a fantastic job during all elements of their test. Both of them demonstrate an unstoppable attitude when it comes to reaching goals and being good role models for other students.

Special thanks goes out to our very supportive parents and family members who make it possible for our students to train in a dedicated manner. The emotional support they provide our students is invaluable in helping them achieve success, not only in our martial arts and personal development center but in every other area of their lives. Kudos to you!

Belt test will start at 6:30 but test candidates should be at the school by at least 6:15 to start warming up.

Good luck to all test candidates tonight!
