Lil Dragons - Ages 3 to 6 years
We Make Learning Fun! This is the perfect class for your 3 to 6 year old child. Lil' Dragon classes offer a learning format that young kids just love. For most kids, this is the first organized class setting they will have tried and it's always gratifying to see the tremendous changes that take place during this developmental stage. Our secret to teaching your child in this age group is something we like to call "Edu-tainment". This simply means using the excitement and fun of the Lil' Dragon games and drills to teach key school readiness and life skills. This class will help your kids be super ready for school and a good precursor to Jr. Tae Kwon-do. Our curriculum also includes a character building component known as "Powerful Words". Your pre-schooler will have one homework project a month to complete that is age appropriate and developed by a leading child development specialist with a background in the martial arts field. These projects are meant to be worked on as a family and provide a springboard for family discussions on character building concepts. Since kids ages 3 through 6 learn best through play, we offer fun learning games and drills that are designed to teach basic Lil Dragon life skills. We even allow for a bit of unstructured play before class if time allows. We believe the time between ages three and six are the most important years of a child's social and physical development.
